Saturday, January 26, was held in Naples the first Microsoft Embedded Conference. The event was organized by the cultural association DotNetCampania and by TinyCLR developer community. Although it was Saturday, the number of visitors was more than 50 people came not only from Campania, but also from other regions.

One of the most requested features in Embedded systems is to avoid, in some way, that the user is "prompted" by the operating system or by an application not designed for the Embedded, to interact with keyboard, mouse or touch.

This situation is well exemplified by the images that follow: it does not only embarrass the user not able to interact, but even if he was able to do so, he may not often know which the right answer is.

This is the final post that concerns "keyboard filter". In the previous posts, after introducing the topic, we discussed how to insert the package "Keyboard Filter" into the Windows Embedded Standard 7 build, how to manage its service and how to configure it in general, how to "Configure and test predefined key combination" and "Configuring custom filters". In this one, we will deal with the use of Group Policy Editor to "Configure and test custom key combination filters " and how to "Configure Keyboard Filters for Non English Keyboards"
