TTG – June 27, 2019: Azure Sphere “Secure by design”!


Torino Technologies Group (TTG) is a local community based in Turin, but that tries to involve people from all the Piedmont region. TTG creates technical meeting and sessions to allow experiences exchange among the attendees. The TTG goals are to organize one session a month to involve technicians with different experiences on Microsoft and/or other computer technologies and push the attendees to become the presenters of the sessions.

Our new location is: Toolbox Coworking, Torino that is near the Mauriziano Hospital (Via Agostino da Montefeltro 2 - Torino).

We hope, as founders of the TTG, that this community can become a place for all the informatics passionate of our region, companies located in Piedmont, students from Politecnico or other Technologic University and start-up hosted in one of the Piedmont incubators.

This meeting will be on July 27, 2019 from 6PM to 8PM:

Azure Sphere: easy to use, "Secure by design"!

In this session, as Embedded/IoT Microsoft MVP, I will provide a deep dive on Azure Sphere's: Microsoft solution to win the challenges of IoT Security. Azure Sphere is a solid IoT solution that starts from a connected MCU (Microcontroller) continues with a Secured OS and is protected by a powerful Security Service in Azure. The session will, after introducing the three parts of the solution, will explain why this solution is so Secure. We will continue presenting how to install, develop, deploy and how to make e remote debug from Visual Studio.

Thanks to Microsoft, attendees will receive themed gadgets (as long as available).

Just to summarize:

· It will take place at Toolbox Coworking, Torino in Via Agostino da Montefeltro 2.

· It will start at 6PM and will end at 8PM.

At 8PM the room is to be freed, but who wants to continue to talk can end the evening at a pizzeria.
